Mount Batur is an active volcano in Bali. It has been erupted many times. The eruptive activity of mount Batur recorded in history in 1804 and the last eruption occurred in 2000. The most devastating occured on August 2 and ended September 21, 1926.
Trekking to mount Batur is the most popular adventure activity in Bali . It is starting in early morning for hike to the top of the volcano to see the sunrise. Normally, the hike will take about one and half or two hours to get the top. The best time to start the hike from the starting point of the hike is about 4 am.
